Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use ujem (ujem.games), a free collection of browser mini-games run by one independent developer (“we”). By using the site, you agree to them.
The service
ujem offers free mini-games that run in your web browser, strategy guides, and features such as likes and a Hall of Fame. No account or installation is needed. We may add, change or remove games and features at any time.
Free to play — no real money
Everything on ujem is free. There are no purchases, no in-game currency to buy, no real-money bets and no prizes. Card, dice and casino-style games (such as poker or twenty-one) use only points, or play chips and coins that have no cash value and can never be bought or cashed out. They are for entertainment only; there is no way to win money or anything of value.
Acceptable use
Please play fair and use the site as intended. You must not:
- cheat, or submit scores that were not achieved through normal play;
- submit scores or other requests automatically (for example with bots or scripts), or tamper with save tokens;
- copy the site's content in bulk with automated tools, call our server other than through the games, overload it, or try to get around rate limits or other security measures;
- use a nickname that is offensive, hateful or sexual, that contains personal information, or that impersonates another person or organisation;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Hall of Fame and moderation
Hall of Fame entries are public. We may edit or remove any nickname or score, or reset a board — for example when an entry breaks these terms, a score looks impossible or automated, or a bug or rule change affected the results — at our discretion and without notice. We may also block connections that abuse the service.
Ownership
The games, code, artwork, guides and other text on ujem were created for ujem and belong to ujem. You are welcome to play, link to and share pages from the site, but you may not copy, redistribute, sell or embed the games or their content elsewhere without our permission.
Game names and trademarks
Many games on ujem are versions of classic or traditional games. Names such as 2048, Sudoku, Yatzy and Reversi are used only to describe the type of game. ujem is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any trademark owner, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Ads and third-party links
The site is supported by ads served by Google and its partners. We do not control the content of ads or of third-party websites reached through ads or links, and we are not responsible for them. Third-party websites have their own terms and privacy policies.
Children
ujem is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Younger players should use the site with the guidance of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for their use of it. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle children's data.
Availability and suspension
We try to keep ujem running smoothly, but we may change, interrupt, suspend or stop the service, in whole or in part, at any time — for example for maintenance. We may also reset scores, remove content and restrict access for anyone who breaks these terms.
No warranty
The site is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that scores and progress saved on your device or our server will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the loss of data, scores or game progress, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
Copyright and trademark complaints
If you believe something on ujem infringes your copyright or trademark, email ujem.service@gmail.com with the page address, a description of the work or mark, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner. We review every notice and remove or change material where appropriate.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and significant changes are noted on the Updates page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
