About ujem

ujem is a free mobile-first mini-game portal. Open the site in your phone browser, tap a game, and play instantly — no install, no sign-up, no email required.

The games

We currently host 452 short, snackable games covering puzzles, reflex, memory, arcade, and classics. Each game runs entirely in your browser and works offline once loaded, so you can play on the subway or anywhere with spotty connection.

Original games, made for ujem

Every game on ujem is original code written for this site — we do not embed games from other websites or game distributors. Many are our own takes on classic puzzles, board games and card games with long-established rules, and each one comes with a description, how-to-play notes and tips in all six languages.

How the games are made

ujem is made with the help of AI tools, and we want to be open about that. Game code, descriptions, tips, strategy guides and translations are written with Anthropic's Claude Code, and the sprite artwork is created with Canva's AI image generator. The developer decides which games to make, directs the work, chooses what gets published, and reworks or replaces anything that falls short.

Our automated tests run the games in a real browser and check that they load without errors, survive random taps, swipes and key presses, fit small phone screens, keep working offline, and still run when browser storage is blocked. The rules engines of dozens of board and card games are also tested with automated self-play, where the program plays against itself. These checks catch crashes, freezes and broken layouts — not whether a game is fun, which is where your feedback helps most.

Who runs ujem

ujem is designed, built and run by one independent developer. That same person decides which games to make, publishes every update and reads the messages sent to our contact address.

Updates

ujem has been growing since May 2026. New games and updates to existing games are listed with their dates on the Updates page, and new strategy articles appear in the Guides section.

Guides

New to a puzzle? Our in-depth strategy and how-to guides explain the deductions behind our logic games and the habits that make you faster. The guides are written in English; browse them all on the Guides page.

Mobile first

Every game is designed for one-handed portrait phone play. Tap targets are large, layouts are vertical, and load times are kept short. There is no app to install.

Languages

ujem currently supports English, 한국어, 日本語, Español, Português, and 中文 (Simplified). The language follows your browser preference and you can change it at any time from the selector at the top right.

Anonymous by design

You can play without creating an account. A Hall of Fame entry shows only the nickname you type and a country flag that is detected automatically; we never ask for your real name or email. See the Privacy Policy for details.
